Product idea → requirements + market fit

CLI-only scenario that applies two Agents, two Skills, and one Workflow from a single multi-doc YAML file.

Arrange

  • CLI stackgen-beta ≥ v0.82.0-rc.1 (or equivalent) with stackgen ai apply
  • STACKGEN_URL + STACKGEN_TOKEN (or stackgen configure) for live apply
  • Tenant has at least one usable model (agents omit modelNames and use the tenant default)

Act

Cleanup between demos:

Assert

  • --dry-run prints Agent → Skill → Workflow with dry-run / would upsert … and does not call Aiden
  • Live apply creates or updates both skills plus agents and workflow; workflow shows an approved version when --approve is set
  • Workflow run stage 1 emits structured requirements ending with stage_gate:requirements=complete
  • Stage 2 loads movie-and-plain-voice and presents findings in Plain and Movie sections
  • stackgen ai get agent/market-fit-analyst returns the applied agent

Exercise — skill lifecycle swap

Practice adaptability without rewriting agents:

  1. Change analyze-market-fit.skillRefs from movie-and-plain-voice to pirate-and-plain-voice (pirate skill is already applied).
  2. stackgen ai apply -f manifests/product-idea.yaml --approve
  3. Re-run the workflow — stage 2 should use Plain + Pirate.
  4. Swap back when finished.
