sg_knowledge_base (Resource)

⚠️ Experimental — Manages a Guild knowledge base that groups documents and sources. Import with Terraform using the server-assigned id (UUID).

Built-in organization bases may be read-only for some fields and cannot be deleted.

Example Usage

# User-defined knowledge base; documents can target this id on sg_knowledge_document.

Import

Import an existing sg_knowledge_base using its knowledge base UUID:

terraform import sg_knowledge_base.example '123e4567-e89b-12d3-a456-426614174000'

Schema

Required

• name (String) Human-readable knowledge base name (1–120 characters).

Optional

• description (String) Optional human-readable description.
• include_in_global_search (Boolean) Whether generic chat searches this knowledge base. Guild defaults new bases to true when omitted.

Read-Only

• created_at (String) Creation timestamp (RFC 3339).
• document_count (Number) Number of documents assigned to this base.
• id (String) Server-assigned knowledge base UUID. Use this value for import.
• namespace (String) Internal retrieval namespace used by the knowledge pipeline.
• system (Boolean) True for built-in bases (cannot be deleted via this API).
• updated_at (String) Last update timestamp (RFC 3339).
